Visiting Faculty Positions in Economics - Any Rank
The Department of Economics at West Virginia University invites applications for non-tenure track, full-time Visiting positions that begins August 16, 2012. These positions are at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level depending on the qualifications of the candidate. This is a nine-month appointment for the academic year 2012-2013 and begins August 16, 2012 and ends May 15, 2013. Subject to budgetary approval, the Department has up to two positions available. The first is a Macroeconomics position. The Department teaches macroeconomics at all levels from principles to the Ph.D. level. Another need of the Department is additional strength in applied microeconomics. The Department teaches microeconomics at all levels from undergraduate principles to a class in our doctoral program that covers general equilibrium theory as well as game theory and applications of game theory to principal agent models and models of screening and signaling, bargaining, and auctions.
