Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics at West Virginia University invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time position as Visiting Assistant Professor that may begin as early as August 16, 2014. The appointment will be for two academic years. Applicants should have completed or be nearing completion of a Ph.D. degree in Economics and should have potential for excellence in research and teaching in economics. A successful candidate will be affiliated with the Center for Free Enterprise in the College of Business and Economics. The position has both teaching and research responsibilities. Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management

The College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University is searching for an outstanding candidate to fill a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning August 16, 2014. The College of Business and Economics is implementing an innovative and ambitious Supply Chain Management program. The first stage has already been approved and an area of emphasis will be launched in the Fall 2014. Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics

The Economics Department at West Virginia University seeks applications for a position at the assistant or associate professor level.  We seek either a senior assistant professor with a productive research record or an associate professor with an internationally recognized record of excellence in research. Consideration will be given to the applicant’s ability to communicate the free-market perspective to a broad audience. A successful candidate will be a member of the economics department, be affiliated with a new political economy center, be expected to produce high-quality scholarship for leading economics journals, serve on dissertation committees, and teach both undergraduate and PhD courses in economics.  Depending on qualifications, a successful candidate will be offered a tenure-track position or brought in with a recommendation for tenure. Assistant Professor of Marketing

The College of Business and Economics anticipates an opening for a Marketing faculty member at the Assistant Professor level (non-tenured, tenure track) starting in Fall 2014.  We are seeking candidates who have already earned a Ph.D. degree in Marketing or will have completed their dissertation by Fall 2014.  Instructional duties may include teaching in both the Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) program and in the undergraduate program in marketing.  An ideal candidate will balance strong research and teaching capabilities. Those with teaching and research interests that support the department’s three areas of emphasis in Professional Sales, Integrated Digital Marketing, and/or Sustainable Pathways to Markets are encouraged to apply. Assistant/Associate Professor of Management

The Department of Management in the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor, starting August 2014 (perhaps as soon as January 2014). We are seeking candidates who have already earned a Ph.D. degree or will have completed their dissertation by the time of employment start..
