Associate or Assistant Professor of Marketing

The College of Business and Economics at the Morgantown Campus of West Virginia University anticipates an opening for a Marketing faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (tenure track) starting in Fall 2015.  We seek either an assistant professor with a productive research record and at least three years of experience in a tenure-track position, or an associate professor with an internationally recognized record of excellence in research.  Only candidates with doctoral degrees in marketing will be considered. Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics at West Virginia University invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time position as Visiting Assistant Professor that may begin as early as August 16, 2014. The appointment will be for two academic years. Applicants should have completed or be nearing completion of a Ph.D. degree in Economics and should have potential for excellence in research and teaching in economics. A successful candidate will be affiliated with the Center for Free Enterprise in the College of Business and Economics. The position has both teaching and research responsibilities. Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics

The Economics Department at West Virginia University seeks applications for a position at the assistant or associate professor level.  We seek either a senior assistant professor with a productive research record or an associate professor with an internationally recognized record of excellence in research. Consideration will be given to the applicant’s ability to communicate the free-market perspective to a broad audience. A successful candidate will be a member of the economics department, be affiliated with a new political economy center, be expected to produce high-quality scholarship for leading economics journals, serve on dissertation committees, and teach both undergraduate and PhD courses in economics.  Depending on qualifications, a successful candidate will be offered a tenure-track position or brought in with a recommendation for tenure. A Ph.D. in Economics or terminal degree in a related field is required. More Information
