Emmaus
Monastery, founded by Charles IV in 1347, rebuilt in neo-Gothic style
in 1880. That stricking, double-pointed roof was a 1967 addition,
replacing a roof that was bombed out in World War II (just about the
only damage sustained by Prague during the War). |

eccentric building was designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry and
