Transition Newsletter, the World Bank's bimonthly publication on economic and social developments in transition economies. Fully available on line. Finance and Development, a quarterly publication of the IMF, often contains articles on transition (written mostly by IMF and World Bank staff). All articles are readable on line. Policy Research Working Papers on Transitional Economies, from the World Bank. Abstracts are on line and full texts are available in PDF format. Economic Policy Forums, a collection of case studies from the World Bank. A number of these are on transition economies. Hundreds of papers on the economics of transition are available from the Social Science Research Network Electronic Library. All abstracts are available on line and many of the papers can either be downloaded from the site in PDF format or obtained from the authors (e-mail addresses are provided). The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has several Working Papers on transition available in PDF format. Discussion papers on the economics of transition from the Centre for Economic Reform and Transformation at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh). Abstracts are available on line, the papers are available in PDF format. Working papers in Economic Development and Comparative Systems from EconWPA. Papers on transition issues (e.g., Chinese economic reforms) are part of the series. The papers are available in PDF and postscript formats. TEASE, or Transition Economics Abstract Series, an electronic journal of abstracts of work in transition economics. Subscription to the journal is free on a trial basis. A large collection of papers on Cuba is available from the Association for the Study of the Cuban Economy. The papers are readable on-line. Many of the links above are updated from a site on transitional economies that Giorgio Secondi used to maintain. His excellent site on Development Economics has links that may be of use.
