Executive MBAExecutive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)
Our program allows you to maintain momentum in your career while pursuing your Executive MBA degree. Whether your interest is finance, marketing, management, entrepreneurial, or non-profit management, you will master these skills in a team environment, equipping you to assume a new role within your existing company or enhancing your previous skill set for a new opportunity.
WVU offers two Executive MBA programs: online or evenings. Each program is a total of 48 credit hours and consist of the same valuable material.
Online Program
The online format enables working professionals to take advantage of an Executive MBA education without taking a leave of absence from work or being confined to evening or weekend classroom commitments.
While WVU is embracing the online instructional delivery, we are also committed to experiential learning so four 3-4 day residencies are required. These residencies will enhance your educational experience by exposing you to the business/government intersection in our nation’s capital and participating in a venture capital fair. Meeting your classmates and expanding your WVU network adds to the experience. If desired, you may pursue a week-long international trip to enhance your appreciation and understanding of other business cultures and climates.
Evening Program
Classes meet two evenings a week for four semesters, and are delivered in Charleston, Morgantown, or Parkersburg. All lectures are digitally captured, so you can view a missed lecture at your convenience.
