Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA): Online or Evenings
Maintain momentum in your career while pursuing your 'MBA' degree, online, as an executive. You'll not only master a specific body of knowledge – you'll also learn to think critically and creatively, analyze and synthesize information, communicate effectively, and solve complex problems, all skills that will give you that decisive competitive edge. Get empowered by the same 48-credit-hour curriculum in either an online OR evening format, enhanced by required residencies.
Classes meet two evenings a week for two years and are delivered in Morgantown and broadcasted to Charleston and Martinsburg. All lectures are digitally captured in case your professional life requires you to miss a class. This delivery method is offered once each year, beginning in July. Evening Cohort Application Deadline: June 1st
The online format enables working professionals the flexibility to earn their MBA without being confined to evening or weekend classroom commitments. This delivery method is offered twice a year, beginning in August and January. Online Cohort Application Deadline: July 1st
WVU is also committed to experiential learning so 2-4 day residencies are required of both evening and online programs. Residencies provide dynamic discussion and collaboration which lead to better understanding of curriculum. You’ll connect what you learn in the classroom to tangible issues and develop confidence in what you know and what you can do while networking with your peers. If desired, you may pursue a one to two week-long international trip to enhance your appreciation and understanding of other business cultures and climates.
