The College of Business and Economics and the College of Law offer a joint degree program leading to a JD/EMBA degree. This program allows students to combine valuable skills and complete the degrees in less time than if each were pursued separately.
If you are interested in pursuing the JD/MBA degree, you attend the first year of law school and begin Executive MBA classes during your second year of law school. You may choose the JD/EMBA degree option before you begin law school or up to the beginning of your second year of law school. In order to obtain credit toward the dual degree, both programs must be completed.
To gain entrance into the joint program, students must apply separately to both colleges. Each applicant is responsible for completing all standardized tests required for admission and for completing all requirements for graduation for each degree.
For further information on the JD/EMBA degree, contact Bart Cowan at the College of Law or Elizabeth Vitullo at the College of Business and Economics.
