Beckley

Mountain State University Carter Hall Room Location:

WVU Electronic Classroom - Room 203

Traveling South Follow I-77 South. At Charleston I-64 East Joins I-77 and becomes the WV Turnpike. Follow I-77 South / I-64 East to Exit 42 Robert C. Byrd Drive. Follow WV 16 North (Robert C. Byrd Drive) until you reach the Beckley City limits.

At the second traffic signal, turn right at First State Bank, N.A. Follow the signs for WV 3 East. Turn right at the Stop/Yield signs and you will be on WV 3. After the second traffic signal, go several blocks and get into the left lane. At the third traffic signal, go straight. This is Church Street. At the end of Church Street, you are in the midst of our campus. Turn right on South Kanawha Street look for The Mountain State University signs and parking.

Traveling North Follow the West Virginia Turnpike (I-77 North) until you reach Exit 40 and I-64 East. Follow I-64 East to Exit 124 Eisenhower Drive (US 19). Go north (straight) on US 19.

At the second traffic signal, turn left onto Johnstown Road following WV 41 South. Turn right at the second traffic signal onto South Kanawha Street (WV 210 North). Travel on South Kanawha street for a block and one half and look for The Mountain State University signs and parking.

Charleston

Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center

3110 MacCorkle Avenue S.E. Room Location: 2024, 2014, 2015

Follow interstate 79 south until exit 99. At exit 99, follow I64/77 toward Beckley. Once you pass the Capitol (will be on your right) make preparations to get in the far right lane. This lane will actually be the 35th Street Bridge Exit. Once on the bridge, stay in the right hand lane going across the bridge.

At the stop light, make a right onto MacCorkle Avenue. You will pass a McDonalds on the left and at the upcoming stop light, make a right. This will put you at the entrance to CAMC Hospital.

There is a right hand turn, but do not take it. Stay straight and a parking garage will be on your left and the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Building (brick building with gold lettering at the top) will be on your right. Make a left and pull into the entrance to the parking garage. Tell the guard that you are participating in a conference in room 2024, and the guard will direct you to a parking location.

From I-79 Take the US-250 exit- EXIT 132- toward SOUTH FAIRMONT. Take the ramp toward GRAFTON/TYGART LAKE STATE PARK. Turn LEFT onto US-250/FAIRMONT AVE/ADAMS ST. Stay straight to go onto US-250. Turn LEFT onto US-250/JUNIOR PHILIPPI GRAFTON RD/MAIN ST. Continue to follow US-250/JUNIOR PHILIPPI GRAFTON RD. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto US-250/PIKE ST/JUNIOR PHILIPPI GRAFTON RD. Continue to follow US-250 S. Take the WV-92 S/US-33 E ramp toward ELKINS. Stay straight to go onto OLD US-33/WV-92. OLD US-33/WV-92 becomes US-219/RANDOLPH AVE/US-250. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto DAVIS AVE. Turn LEFT onto 11TH ST.

From Frederick, MD: I-70 west. Route 340 exit west. In Charlestown, right onto Route 9 west. Go 15 - 20 miles.

In Martinsburg, right on Queen Street exit. Left at stop sign onto Queen Street. Continue 0.2 miles and turn left again onto Wilson St. (at the traffic light). Go one block and turn right onto Church St. Go 2 blocks.

The front of the school is bordered by a one way street and the gym is in the rear of the school.

From Northern Virginia: I-66 west. I-81 north.

At Martinsburg, Winchester Avenue exit (McDonalds on right). Right then straight through three lights. Right on Queen Street exit. Left at stop sign onto Queen Street.

Continue 0.2 miles and turn left again onto Wilson St. (at the traffic light). Go one block and turn right onto Church St. Go 2 blocks. The front of the school is bordered by a one way street and the gym is in the rear of the school.

Morgantown

Directions to B&E from I-79

From I 79 N, take Exit 155 toward WV7/ West Virginia University. Take the ramp toward STAR CITY/W.V.U./OSAGE. Merge onto OSAGE RD/CR-19/24 N. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT (By the Sheetz) Continue straight over the bridge. This becomes Jerry West Blvd. You will pass the Coliseum on your right. Continue straight. This street becomes Beechurst . You will continue straight on Beechurst, through a traffic light at Campus Drive. On your right will be Lot 7 (please see attached map). This lot has free parking on Saturdays (note that Lot 10 has restrictions and requires a parking pass).

To access B&E, the building is adjacent to Lot 10. Use care in crossing Beechurst, there are traffic lights at the corner of Campus Dr. and Beechurst or their a ramp and a bridge that cross over Beechurst on your right as you come out of Lot 7.

Go through Washington from Rt 79 to Rt 70W through Wheeling Tunnels ( stay in right hand lane through tunnel), immediately after tunnels, turn right on Rt 2N, go approximately 3 1/4 miles, center is on the right, building is beside 2nd light

Classroom Location: Go through gold doors in front of building, go up the steps and turn right, room is 1st door on left. Room 201. Parking: street parking and a small lot behind building, also there is a plaza that is 1 block away.
