Area of Expertise:

Professor Egorov's dissertation concentrated on development of estimation and forecasting methods for continuous time processes with application to financial models. His areas of expertise are time series econometrics, financial econometrics, estimation of continuous time processes, term structure of interest rates, behavioral finance, as well as monetary economics and macroeconomics. Professor Egorov has been instructor at Syracuse University School of Management where he taught the core course of corporate finance. He also has extensive experience in teaching statistics, advanced mathematics and numerical methods. He will be teaching courses in financial economics and time series econometrics. He has published in the Journal of Econometrics.
