Dr. Pariser's teaching interests include advanced financial accounting, accounting for mergers & acquisitions, and governmental & not-for-profit organizations. His current interests include fraud and forensic accounting, healthcare financial management and compliance, and state & local governmental accounting.
His research has appeared in numerous professional and scholarly journals including the Journal of Forensic Accounting, Journal of Accountancy, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Journal Public Budgeting & Finance, and New Perspectives New Perspectives on Healthcare Risk Management, Control and Governance. Dr. Pariser also is a certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner, and certified valuation analyst.
