Area of Expertise:
Mr. Seiaman directs the operations of the Edna and R. Emmet Lynch Advising Center. The Center is responsible for providing support services to 700+ students pursuing baccalaureate degrees in business and economics. These support services include: academic advising, career planning, and academic records management. A staff of academic advisors and records assistants support the mission of the Center. As the senior academic advisor for the College, Mr. Seiaman assists traditional and non-traditional students in designing academic plans of study, registering for courses, and preparing for professional careers in business and economics. He is primarily responsible for working with academic-at-risk students and students with special needs. In addition to academic advising, Mr. Seiaman is also responsible for new student recruiting, which includes participation in Mountaineer Visitation Days, College Information Nights, and personalized College Tours. During these events, prospective students and their parents meet with College representatives to acquire information on academic programs and other opportunities available at the College of Business and Economics and West Virginia University.
