Class of 2015 December Graduation

The West Virginia University College of Business and Economics cordially invites you to the December 2015 Graduation Ceremony. West Virginia University will recognize all December 2015 candidates for academic degrees and August 2015 graduates during a formal ceremony at the WVU Coliseum, Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.

Application for Graduation and Diploma

Students graduating are required to complete an online Application for Graduation and Diploma found on DegreeWorks. The deadline to submit this application is October 02, 2015 for the December 2015 graduation. Students who do not submit an electronic application by the aforementioned deadline will not be able to submit an application until January 2016 for the May 2016 Commencement.

Commencement Attendance

Students planning to attend the December ceremony are required to fill out the registration form on the University website, http://graduation.wvu.edu/convocation. Information about the ceremony is also available at this website.

Academic Regalia

Students participating in the ceremony must wear full academic regalia. Caps, gowns, tassels and hoods are available at the WVU Book Store. The tassel color for the College is drab.

Honor Cords

Cords to designate Latin Honors will be distributed at the breakfast sponsored by the College of Business and Economics. If a student is not attending the breakfast, he/she can pick up the cords in the Office of Undergraduate Programs and Advising in Room 358 in the week prior to the ceremony.

College Brunch for Undergraduate Students

The College of Business and Economics will host a brunch prior to the ceremony to recognize the undergraduate and graduate degree candidates. The luncheon is at the Morgantown Event Center at Waterfront Place, Three Waterfront Pl, Morgantown, WV, on December 18, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Dr. Nancy McIntyre, Interim Mylan Puskar Dean of the College of Business and Economics, will offer comments to students and invited guests. Immediately following Dean McIntyre's comments, students will be recognized during an Alumni Pinning Ceremony. The program will conclude by 11:30 a.m. to allow adequate time for travel to the WVU Coliseum for the ceremony.
