Nominations sought for state Business Hall of Fame
Nominations are being sought for the 2009 West Virginia Business Hall of Fame.
The award recognizes business leaders who have established a record of distinction in their field. Business leaders are eligible who have ties to West Virginia and whose business acumen, strength of leadership, and contributions to their communities have resulted in success.
The nomination deadline is September 1. However, nominations will continue to be accepted throughout the year and kept on file for three years. An induction ceremony will be held Thursday, November 19, at the Waterfront Place Hotel.

Established in 2001 by the West Virginia University's College of Business and Economics, the award went last year to David C. Hardesty, Jr., former WVU President; John D. Leslie, Leslie Equipment; and Benjamin M. Statler, retired coal executive.
