Duties:
Research projects, tax planning engagements and mergers, attendance at meetings
and international conferences, team oriented assignments, work on marketing strategies,
and assist in capital-sourcing efforts.
Plans:
I am eager to network and gain real life experience from such a prestigious
internationally known accounting firm. I'm sure the experience and knowledge I am
going to gain this summer at Ernst and Young is going to be invaluable and will
ultimately help guide me on the right career path.
However, after graduation I want to eventually further my education onto law school. I am interested in the field of corporate law. I feel the right career path for me is a combination of my three major interests which are business in general, accounting and law. This summer I will gain my experience in tax accounting, next summer I plan to get an audit internship, then I plan to further on to law school and eventually intern for a law firm. I want to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible in order to solidify my future and leave room for flexibility.
