A degree from the WVU College of Business and Economics is an excellent investment: at an affordable price, our students graduate with the education and skills they need to face challenges and create the future they envision. In fact, America's 100 Best College Buys (2nd ed.) places WVU on its list. Also, in its 2006 edition, U.S. News & World Report ranks West Virginia University's College of Business and Economics among the top quartile of AACSB-accredited undergraduate programs in the country. Of the 504 programs eligible, B&E is ranked 116th. Among public institutions, the College of Business & Economics is ranked 89th.

Ready to apply?

Incoming Freshmen:

For now all you need to do is apply to WVU (see the link on the left). You can apply to B&E just before your junior year (see Admissions for more details).

To contact an advisor about your application, visit the WVU Advising Center site (see the link on the left). Note: Freshmen enrolled in the WVU Honors program are advised by the B&E Advising Center (see link on the left).

Eligible Pre-Business Students:

Any student with at least a 2.50 GPA who will have completed 58 or more credit hours including required courses by the end of the current semester or the summer session is eligible to apply for admission to the College of Business and Economics. Transfer Students:

Transfer students must have completed all course and grade requirements and must have grade point averages at or above 2.50 to be eligible to apply for admission to the College. For more details visit our Admissions page (see the link on the left).
