Germany Study Abroad
May 3 - 15, 2014
University of Applied Sciences, Fulda, Germany
The program is specifically designed around the Executive MBA student. It is short and intense in orientation and was designed around feedback from a focus group conducted with the students which indicated that they wanted an international experience in the EMBA Program. Germany was selected because it was compatible with student interest, it represents a major U.S. trading partner, is the world's largest exporter and manufacturer as a percentage of GDP, has become a major corporate investor in West Virginia, and because Germany is the largest ethnic group in West Virginia.
Executive MBA students learn German culture and business practices in a series of seminars at WVU followed by a 12 day trip to Fulda, Germany. The trip includes seminars led by German faculty and business leaders, field trips to German business, and visits to German historical and cultural sites.
