Dr. Randyl Elkin
Program Coordinator, Professor of Management and Industrial Relations
In this program, students will have the opportunity to learn about business relationships between Mexico and the U.S. in addition to other social issues, namely labor markets. During their study of international marketing and management, students will travel to Guanajuato, Mexico, to meet and network with Mexican business executives and various companies to discuss current business decision-making and leadership skills.
In preparing for this experience, students will first learn through an online spring semester course comprising online work on modules that will range from the general culture of Mexico to the inner-workings of NAFTA. Once in Mexico, students will study political, legal, and financial issues at the University of Guanajuato, as well as Mexican business strategies and opportunities.
